The Discoverer Helicopter Discovery Flight

• 1.5 hour flight lesson in a Robinson R44 Raven II over New Orleans
• Professional flight instructor certified by the FAA
• You take the controls as your instructor guides you
• Fly in a comfortable, 4-passenger helicopter with just you and the instructor
• Share this experience by adding an observer for an additional fee
• No experience necessary! Minimum Age: 10

Flying is Just Plane Fun! Try your hand at flying a helicopter with an FAA Certified Flight Instructor to guide you. Includes 30 mins of practical flight instruction in a helicopter, 60 mins of pre-flight ground instruction, SFAR 73 Endorsement, and First Flight Log.

• Confirmation will be received at the time of your booking.
• Must watch SFAR 73 Awareness Video prior to arrival. Additional fee applies if video hasn't been watched.
• Weight Restrictions apply. Max combined weight not to exceed 550 lbs. with a per seat limit of 300 lbs.
• Duration of flights begin at engine startup and end at engine shutdown (it is not just the time in the air).
• We are not wheelchair accessible.
• All purchases are non-refundable.

In the event of a unique weather situation, we reserve the right to alter, modify or reschedule any flights/tours/lessons due to unsafe conditions within two weeks of the original reservation. Refunds are not available if a flight must be rescheduled due to weather conditions. Ticketholders should have an alternate date/time in mind should weather pose an inconvenience.

Refunds and exchanges are not permitted. All sales are final. We require a 72 hour notice to reschedule without charge. If we are not provided sufficient notice, client forfeits the full amount of their payment and/or voucher and any additional upgrades purchased. There is a 10-minute grace period after your scheduled flight time.For late shows beyond 10 minutes, we cannot guarantee the full time reserved, and we reserve the right to reduce your flight by the time delayed.

All participants are required to sign an electronic liability waiver prior to your flight. If it is not completed prior to check-in, it will be required at the time of your flight.
